巴西在线游戏的新曙光

Online gaming has been a tough topic for Brazil for many years, with many bills attempting to regulate it shelved time and again due to public resistance rooted in moral or religious concerns.

However, a new era has seen its dawn in the South American country just days ago, when President Michel Temer placed his signature on a bill that, among others, opens a virtual pathway for online sports betting. The proceedings from the new legislative bit are expected to fund departments concerned with culture, sports and public safety.

While sports betting providers and operators are first in line to enjoy the new opportunity, the rest of the industry shares in the excitement, in hope that sports betting will be but the beginning of wider open doors for online gambling.
