Poker in US?

On the eve of exhibiting at G2E Las Vegas (stand #5025) we can't help but wonder what's in store for the future of online poker in the US.

Following the ground-shaking Black Friday in 2011 that saw three giant poker sites shut down and thousands of players unable to access their funds, the world has been left wondering whether online poker would ever make a come-back on the North American scene.

Hopes for legal poker in the states have been revamped lately, following a long awaited - yet still massively surprising - door opening for sports betting. Many regard the US Supreme ruling in favor of New Jersey's challenge of PASPA as the first piece in a domino fall that will see most of American states review their regulations in the field.

If that sounds like good news, that's what we like to believe too. It is perhaps hardly a foot in the door for online poker, but a silver lining nonetheless.
